Pat-will-trade

I am Pat Brian of Austin, Texas. I'm a full-time real estate investor, but in my heart, I'm a fisherman — a fisherman with a hobby.
I've been making customized, high-quality rods for friends for more than 20 years. After years of receiving positive feedback about the craftsmanship of my rods, I realized a unique opportunity. I now make fishing rods for anglers worldwide in exchange for time on their boats. That's all there is to it: my rods (with your name or your boat's name) in exchange for a few days of fishing.
I make a variety of rods, from 30lb. stand-up rods to 130lb. bent butt chair rods. A lot of rod makers claim to make the best rods, and, while there are great ones available, I know a "Pat Brian Custom Rod" can compare to any in the world. Here's why:
I use only Calstar and Seeker blanks. I also use only Aftco and Fuji guides and Aftco straight butts and bent butts, depending on the angler's needs. I work with these materials exclusively because, as you probably know, they are widely recognized as the very best. Ultimately, there's no great secret to mixing and matching these components. But until something better comes along, I am committed to these materials and a high level of craftsmanship.
Another distinctive quality about "Pat Brian Custom Rods" is that I use Flex Coat polymer finish, which I order directly from Roger Seiders, president of Flex Coat Company Inc. He was the first to use polymer as a rod finish. For many years, I have collaborated with Roger in making refinements to my rods. As a special final touch, I carefully hand-wrap multiple layers of thread to secure the guides and apply two coats of Flex Coat polymer for a brilliant finish.
As I fish in waters around the world, more anglers are discovering the first-rate quality of "Pat Brian Custom Rods" — anglers such as Tex Schramm, former Dallas Cowboys president and general manager and founder of the World Cup Blue Marlin Tournament, Boat captains and owners in Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, Guatemala, Acapulco, Costa Rica, the Bahamas, the Canary Islands, Ascension Island and Hawaii understand the rewards of owning a time-tested "Pat Brian Custom Rod".
My rods are tournament quality. The largest blue marlin ever recorded in a marlin tournament was caught with a "Pat Brian Custom Rod". The marlin, weighing 1,258 1/2 pounds, was caught by renowned lure maker Capt. Bomboy Llanes on July 5, 2003 in Kona, Hawaii.
"Pat Brian Custom Rods" are extremely well-balanced and immaculately finished. They have tremendous structural integrity and longevity. With a "Pat Brian Custom Rod" you can own one of the world's best rods without spending hard cash. So.....
